darklord.comvampire: redemption editing resourcesA Private House My first Redemption map is a suburban home, surrounded by a high brick wall. Here are some screen shots: Escape Into Darkness My second (and, if things continue as they have been, final ;) multiplayer map for Vampire is Escape Into Darkness. The map can be downloaded at PlanetVampire. Here's some screen shots. Enjoy! Redemption Files for Download Here's a couple of key files for your Redemption experience: the NOD SDK and the Vampire 1.1 patch. If you haven't heard about it, the patch will let you save anywhere, and from my experience noticably improves the walking AI for characters (they don't run into walls as much as they did in 1.0. ;). Also, here's Chronicle Director; this little number will save you a lot of time and effort if you're assembling chronicles. Redemption FAQ When I was involved with the Vampire modding community, I got quite a few emails with questions about editing for Redemption, so I collected some of them (along with the answers) in a Redemption FAQ. If you have any questions that aren't answered here, email me. GenSurf At one time, I had GenSurf working with The Embrace. GenSurf will create irregular tesselated surfaces, for hills, cave walls, etc. Use the external standalone version; the plugins will crash the editor. Expansions Tutorial Here's a tutorial I wrote on producing easy-to-install expansions. Check it out! Doors That Open I wrote a tutorial about creating doors that can open and close using The Embrace. No, not the ones that take you between maps, that's been covered already (not by me, man, by other people). I mean doors like that you can... oh just read it already. |
