Q: When I run a map created in Embrace, Christof, doors, and all objects such as lamps, kegs, tables and anything else I have placed are all coloured solid black. This is the only problem I am having with Embrace and it is preventing me from sharing my maps with other Vampire gamers. Do you know what the problem could be?

A: This only happens to me when:

a) I build a level without calculating any lighting, and the whole level is displayed fullbright (all objects are black), or

b) if the light I am using is very dim. In my experience template objects don't receive as much effect from lights as regular brushes do, so they can appear dark if you're using dim lighting effects. One possible way to fix this is to put in a very slight amount of ambient light into your level (say, 40 or 60) to bring the overall light level up and give those objects more definition, but it depends on what you're doing.

If this is happening in any other case, let me know.
