The Un-Unofficial X-Files Episode Guide

Key
Ranks:
It's all coming together as a whole, and this is part of it.
(none) We'd get bored if every episode was part of the Greater Story.
Sometimes, people make mistakes. These mistakes got on television.
Rating:
The human mind evolved explicitly to create art of this caliber.
Many shows can only dream of having episodes this good.
In a pinch, it's a fine way to spend your time.
Angry humanitarians will riot if this episode is played too often.
It's actually a weapon used to melt your brain.

Season 3

3X01: "Breathing Way" [2/3]
Really great secret government stuff. Story is a little thin. Good cliffhanger.
3X02: "Paper Clip" [3/3]
Story continues to be a little thin, but Skinner is the coolest. Of anyone. Ever.
3X03: "D.P.O."
A personal favorite, and a great co-star performance. Great music, too.
3X04: "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose"
Wonderful. Funny, bizarre story about psychics and coincidences.
3X05: "The List"
This is good. A prison story, with one of my favorite character actors, and a good solid production job.
3X06: "2Shy"
ICK! ICK ICK ICK ICK ICK!!! ICK!!! Gross! Not for the queasy.
3X07: "The Walk" {not seen}
3X08: "Oubliette"
Quite good. Nosebleeds were a little misleading (I think ;-), but sill quite good.
3X09: "Nisei" [1/2]
It took three seasons, but... I won't say. Lots of great in-jokes.
3X10: "731" [2/2]
It's amazing how Chris Carter can put the undeniable proof right in front of your face, and make you doubt it. Pisses me right off.
3X11: "Revelations"
I used to bleed from the palms when I had to do math at the chalkboard, too. (This was a good one, FYI. Real good.)
3X12: "War of the Coprophrages"
BWAHAHAHAHAHAha ha haaaaa hahaaaaa HAHAHAHA ha *gasp* "Not now." BWAHAHAHA ha haaaHA!!
3X13: "Syzygy"
Grand cross, indeed. A great start, but... huh? What? However, great Mulder/Scully banter. Could be worth it just for that.
3X14: "Grotesque"  ()
Oooh, this was good. But then again, it kinda wasn't. But it was great. But, actually... oh, just watch it. Fantastic gargoyles.
3X15: "Piper Maru" [1/2]
I freakin' loved it. First scene is... frightening. Aliums! Oily eyes!
3X16: "Apocrypha" [2/2]
I prayed for Chris Carter to be just and kind, and he heard my call.
3X17: "Pusher"
Very, very good story, but wouldn't it be nice if those SWAT guys didn't point their automatic weapons at the FBI agents? Just once?
3X18: "Teso Dos Bichos"
This is the worst episode ever! Ever! It was worse than The Relic!
3X19: "Hell Money"
Not great, but not awful. An interesting story about Chinatown, with not a lick of the paranormal in it. None.
3X20: "Jose Chung's From Outer Space"
This is the best episode ever! Ever! It was better than Cats!
3X21: "Avatar"
Skinner, as I have said, is a god. This proves it.
3X22: "Quagmire"
Worth seeing just for the second-to-last sequence (on the rock).
3X23: "Wetwired"
I loved this one; my sidekick did not. See above for details.
3X24: "Talitha Cumi" [1/2]
This is going somewhere, you can just tell.
